Too many injuries among nurses and emergency forced to raise more and more 'and so many obese patients' U.S. hospitals run for cover. On the streets of Boston, Massachusetts (USA) this week has made its appearance plus-size ambulance, equipped with a special stretcher which can 'stand up to 385 pounds and a hydraulic lift that raises up to 450 pounds. The ambulance that came to the Boston Emergency Medical Services, will be 'on duty from 2 to 4 times a week, ensuring Jose Archil, chief of emergency services, to meet the increasing emergency calls received by patients''oversize.'' ''We have observed a significant increase in cases over the past six months,''said Archil, worried by the complaints of its employees for injuries suffered by lifting patients' in the flesh.
